This is a fabulous campground! It's located near the quieter entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park, about a mile off the main road. It's incredibly peaceful and quiet. Some sites are right by the river. There are only 50 sites here so it feels much calmer than Moraine Park Campground. Loop B has lots of shade while Loop C is close to the water. Very family friendly and clean facilities! I would highly recommend this to families looking for a relaxing weekend of camping!
Beautiful campground with good basic amenities, nestled in the meadow of RMNP. Nice small paved loops with small number of campsites. Good mix of forest shade and sunshine in the sites. Perfect spot to be in the park , just past the entrance, to launch your days adventures! There is a wonderful river close by and the views of the Mountains are great!

Top Tips for this Campground
If at all possible do not arrive late in the day as the lines for the entrance grow exponentially!
